How Your Donation Is Used

In addition to offsetting the significant costs of basic firefighting services, your contribution helps fund special projects, such as...
  • Motor Vehicle Rescue Equipment - Motor vehicle accidents account for 1/3 of the emergencies we respond to. In order to better serve those we protect, the Spring Brook Fire Company obtained all of the rescue equipment required to begin life saving motor vehicle rescue operations as soon as we arrive on the scene. Our vehicle stabilization equipment allows us to secure the vehicle to insure that the victims do not receive further injuries. Our hydraulic spreaders and cutters allow us to immediately begin extrication and rescue operations.

  • Thermal Imaging Camera - We now have a Thermal Imaging Camera in service. The camera allows our fire fighters to see through smoke in order to locate trapped victims.

  • Medical Quick Responder Service - The QRS Program has been designed to enhance the level of Basic Life Support Emergency Medical Services that is currently available to the residents of Spring Brook Township by responding with the Moscow Ambulance to all medical emergencies in the township. Seconds saved in getting trained emergency medical help on the scene often times means lives are saved. The mission of the QRS Program is to get lifesaving help to those in need as soon as possible. It is not intended to replace the services provided by the Moscow Ambulance, but to support these services. To this end, the EMT Responders of the Spring Brook Fire Company will continue to work in conjunction and close cooperation with the Moscow Ambulance crew to get medical help to those in need as soon as possible.

  • New Firehouse and Community Center - This new building (opening soon) is the largest structure in all of Spring Brook Township. It will provide significantly greater and more-modern space for storing our vehicles and holding community events.
